Accreditation and certification costs

One course

The cost for quality assuring all application paperwork and  a single course specification is £195.

Up to three courses

The cost for quality assuring all application paperwork and up to three courses is £495 

Up to five courses

The cost for quality assuring all application paperwork and up to five courses is £749 

Up to ten courses

The cost for quality assuring all application paperwork and up to ten courses is £995

Additonal courses

If your  application paperwork has already been approved and you are interested in expanding your accredited course offer,  we can quality assure additional courses  for £95 per course.

Certification costs

Once you think a learner has has achieved the criteria set out in your course specification, you will need to send us their work to externally verify. We will assess the work against the required standards and issue a certificate if these standards have been achieved.

If not all the criteria has been met, we will offer you feedback on how to support your learner complete the course.

The cost for external verification and certification is £12.95 per learner.

To achieve accredited course status your organisation will need to:

  1. Have resources , systems and staffing that will be appropriate to support the training courses provided.
  2. Implement appropriate quality assurance to ensure that the standards agreed with the NCVL are upheld.
  3. Have appropriate administrative systems in place  that will enable all requests from the NCVL to be met.
  4. Keep complete and accurate records of outcomes for learners for a minimum of 3 months after claiming qualifications
  5. Fully cooperate with all monitoring services required by the NCVL.
  6. Have effective communication systems in place to allow for effective internal and external quality assurance.
  7. Agree to the prompt payment of invoices received from the NCVL.
  8. Accept that if the organisation defaults on commitments made in this application, it may lead to the removal of its  accredited qualifications from the NCVL
